  • 1. How do I setup Remote+?

    It's easy. Simply sign up for a new account with Remote+ on your iPad and then get the PC remote server download link from your registered email. After the PC remote server is installed, you can use the same account to sign in and select the shared folder to allow access. Then, you can remotely access your PC from your iPad. Please enable the internet for both devices to be connected.

  • 2. How can I transfer photos from PC to iPad?

    First, please make sure both your iPad and PC are connected to the internet. Secondly, sign in with the same user account on both devices. Then, you can access your PC files from your iPad. Simple select the PC photos that you want to download from iPad interface, then it's done!

  • 3. Where can I download the PC remote server of Remote+?

    Once you sign up for a new account, we will send you an email which contains the PC remote server download link for you to install Remote+. If you haven't received the email, you can go to "Setting" to select the "Send again" button to request the PC version download email again. You can also go to http://www.linique.com/download_windows.php to download it.

  • 4. How do I access my Dropbox folders?

    After you sign in Remote+, you'll see a Dropbox entry on the left side. Simply select the Dropbox entry to fill out your Dropbox account & password. Then you can access Dropbox folders freely as the way you access your PC files.

  • 5. Do I need to sign in Dropbox account every time?

    No, once you sign in Dropbox at the first time, we will secure & store the data in your local device. When you sign in Remote+ next time, you can easily access Dropbox folders without any other actions required.
    If you want to change your Dropbox account, please go to setting page to logout Dropbox account. Then you can log in Dropbox with other accounts again.

  • 6. How do I download files to view on my iPad when I am offline?

    Remote+ is designed to also support offline usage. When the devices are connected, you can select the download icon and select the files to be downloaded. Then, select the download confirmation icon again to start downloading. Once the download is completed, you can see the downloaded files in the local folder of the Remote+ home page.

  • 7. What file types do Remote+ support?

    Remote+ supports png/jpg/bmp, mp3, mp4, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, zip, html, txt, and other supported video formats on your device.
    P.S. Some video formats could to be played with other apps by using open-in app feature.

  • 8. How do I delete my local files to reduce storage space in my iPad?

    Sign in to Remote+ and select the local folder. Select the delete icon and select the files to be deleted. Then, select the delete confirmation icon again to delete files.

  • 9. How can I share the files?

    There are several ways to share files. You can select the share button to share files by email or open with other supported applications. If you select the "Open in" button, you will see a list of supported applications which have been installed in your iPad. Once you select an application, Remote+ will open your file with that application for your further usage..

  • 10. How do I setup my PC for permanent use when I am away from my PC?

    First, please make sure your PC is plugged-in for continuous battery life. Secondly, please remember to enable the setting of "Prevent PC going to sleep" from the PC Remote Server to avoid connection problems.

  • 11. How can I quickly jump back to the home page of Remote+ on my iPad?

    There is a navigation path on the top of the Remote+ user interface. You can simply tap the home icon to jump back to the home page; or tap any folder name to go back to that folder.

  • 12. How can I setup an automatic sign out function on my iPad?

    Simply go to the setting menu and enable the auto sign out function. It will be directly applied for your next sign in.

  • 13. What do I need to do to view files offline?

    Remote+ is designed to support the offline usage. Even if your iPad is offline, you can still sign in to see the downloaded files under local folder.

  • 14. Is there any file size limitation in Remote+?

    There is no file size limitation but the viewing or downloading performance will depend on your network. If you have any large files that need to be downloaded for offline usage, we recommend you to download it in a LAN environment to make sure the file transmission will be faster.

  • 15. What languages are currently supported for Remote+?

    Currently Remote+ supports English only. We will support other languages in the near future.

  • 16. Will Remote+ be blocked by any anti-virus software in PC?

    Remote+ has been tested for blockage on popular anti-virus softwares like Symantec, PC-cillin and Kaspersky. Kindly inform us if there any other anti-virus softwares which caused you problems.

  • 17. What OS does Remote+ support?

    PC : Windows 7 32/64bit, Windows XP 32 bit, Windows vista 32/64 bit
    iOS: iOS 4.2 above (iPad)
