  • 1. What languages do UniQPass support?

    UniQPass currently supports English (EN), Traditional Chinese (TC) and Simplified Chinese (SC).

  • 2. Where can I get the Help file?

    You can see the Help file page after you register UniQPass. You may click the “Exit” button at the bottom of the screen if you do not need it.

    Alternatively, access the Help file on your mobile device by following the steps below:

    Click the “Options” button of the application; Click the “Help” button.

  • 3. Where can I get the different versions of UniQPass?

    You can find the UniQPass for Android, iOS and Windows on the associated product page. Click the links to download UniQPass for your device. Alternatively, capture the unique QR code for each version to get the download link.

  • 4. What’s the difference between the lite version and pro version of UniQPass?

    Both the Lite and Pro are full featured versions. However, UniQPass Lite (free) is limited to 10 cards and allows you to experience the sync feature for 7 days.

  • 5. How do I purchase UniQPass Pro?

    You will receive a purchase notification if you exceed 10 cards or after the expiry of the 7 day sync period for UniQPass Lite. Just click the “Get it now” button to be directed to the buying page. Alternatively, purchase UniQPass Pro from the Android Market or App Store directly.

  • 6. How can I provide feedback for UniQPass?

    As we are continuously updating our product, we very much welcome any feedback from users and have set up a direct contact feature in UniQPass. Please follow the steps below:

    Click “Options”; Click “Feedback”; and Click “eservice@linique.com” to leave us your comments or feedback.

  • 7. What encryption is being used in UniQPass?

    We use AES-256 encryption algorithm for your password and information. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a symmetric-key encryption standard adopted by the U.S. government to protect national secrets.

    Your sensitive data will always be encrypted and decrypted locally on your device before being synchronized. No one at UniQPass (or anywhere else) can decrypt your data without you giving away your password. Even for recovery of password, the server will email the user directly.

  • 1. How do I add a new category?

    On an Android Smartphone:

    Press the "Menu" button and pick the "Add" button. You will be required to input the category name. Click "Save" to save the new category.

    On an iPad/iPhone:

    Click the "+" button on the top of the screen. You will be required to input the category name. Click "Create" to save the new category.

    On PC:

    Click the "New Category" button on the top of the screen. You will be required to input the category name. Click "OK" to save the new category.

  • 2. How do I edit a category?

    On an Android Smartphone:

    Press the "Menu" button and pick the "Edit" button. You will be required to input the category name after clicking each category. Click "Save" to save the change. Alternatively, you can long press on the category and pick "Edit" on the popup window to edit your category.

    On an iPad/iPhone:

    Click the "Edit" button on the left bottom of the screen. You will be required to input the category name. Click "Save" to save the change.

    On PC:

    Select the category that you want to edit and press the "Edit" button. You will be required to input the category name. Click "OK" to save the changes.

  • 3. How do I delete a category?

    On an Android Smartphone:

    Go to the category list page, and follow the steps below:

    Press the "Menu" button and pick the "Delete" button; Choose the category(s) that you want to delete; and Press "Delete" button at the bottom of screen to confirm deletion.

    On an iPad/iPhone:

    Press the "Edit" button and you will see a red symbol in front of all categories. Tap on the red symbol and select the "Delete" button; You will be presented with a screen asking for your confirmation.

    On PC:

    Select the category you want to delete and press the "Delete" button on the top of screen. You will be presented with a screen asking for your confirmation.

    Note: After you click "OK", the selected category(s) and all cards in the category will be deleted.

  • 4. How do I add a new card?

    On an Android Smartphone:

    Go to one of your categories and press the "Menu" button. Then, pick the "Add" button and choose the card type you would like to add. You can fill in all items in the existing fields and additional information in each card's comment field. Each card has a picture field to show a picture of the card. You can insert your captured picture or select from your photo library.

    On an iPad/iPhone:

    Go to one of your categories, press the "+" button and choose the card type you would like to add. You can fill in all items in the existing fields. The "Instant Capture" feature allows you to insert captured pictures or select from your photo library for your card. You can add any additional information in each card's "Comment" field on the bottom.

    On PC:

    Click the "New Card" button on the top left corner, then you will be requested to choose the card type and enter the card name. Click "OK" to save the card.

  • 5. How do I edit my cards?

    On an Android Smartphone:

    Go to the card that you want to edit, press the "Menu" button and pick the "Edit" button. You can edit all fields in this card. Click "Save" to save your changes and exit.

    Alternatively, you can stay on the card list page, and follow the steps below:

    Press the "Menu" button and pick the "Edit" button; Choose one card that you want to edit; Edit the information; and Press the "Save" button to save your changes.

    On an iPad/iPhone:

    Select the card that you want to edit, press the "Edit" button and you will see a blue symbol. Select it and go to the edit mode. Edit the information and press "Save" to save your changes.

    On PC:

    Select the card that you want to edit, press the "Edit" button on the top of screen to go to the edit mode. Edit the information and press "Save" to save your changes.

  • 6. How do I delete a card?

    On an Android Smartphone:

    Go to the card that you want to remove, press the "Menu" button and select the "Delete" button.

    Alternatively, you can stay on the card list page, and follow the steps below:

    Press the "Menu" button and select the "Delete" button; Choose the card(s) that you want to delete; and Press the "Delete" button at the bottom of screen to confirm deletion.

    On an iPad/iPhone:

    Select the card that you want to delete and press the "Edit" button and you will see a red symbol. Tap on the red symbol and select the "Delete" button. Click "OK" to confirm the deletion.

    On PC:

    Select the card that you want to delete and press the "Delete" button. Click "OK" to confirm the deletion.

  • 7. How do I sync data from my smartphone to my PC?

    You need to be connected to the internet. Please follow the steps below to sync your files:

    Download and install the latest version of UniQPass on your smartphone and on your PC; Register an account on the smartphone and add the information you want to add; Sync the smartphone manually by pressing the "Menu" button and select the "Sync" button; Select the "Sync" button and all existing information will be downloaded to the PC.

    Note: If you have changed your password on another device and didn't sync the new password on your current device, UniQPass will ask you to input your new password when you click "Sync".

  • 8. How do I setup the Automatic Synchronization (Auto-Sync) feature?

    On an Android Smartphone:

    Press the "Menu" button, pick "Options" and select "Auto-Sync Settings". You can set the time to auto-sync. You can choose to sync at logon (logon sync), sync at log out (log out sync), both or closed.

    On an iPad/iPhone:

    Go to "Options" and select "Auto-Sync Settings". You can choose to sync at logon (logon sync), sync at log out (log out sync), both or closed.

    On PC:

    Go to "Options" and select "Auto-Sync Settings". You can choose to sync at logon (logon sync), sync at log out (log out sync), both or closed.

  • 9. How do I restore my files if I reset the device?

    UniQPass will automatically restore your files if you reset your device. You just have to logon to UniQPass after installing the latest version on your device and the automatic restore function will be initialized.

  • 10. How do I back up my files?

    Make sure your device is connected to the internet. Press the "Menu" button on your device and click "Sync". Then, wait for a moment until you see the message, "Synchronization completed successfully!". Click the "OK" button to close the message.

  • 11. How do I insert the captured images into my card?

    You can insert the capture images into your card by camera or photo library.

    For inserting images from the photo library, please follow the steps below:

    Click the "Library" button to select an existing image in your library;
    Choose from the photo gallery to pick an image;
    Click the "Back" button to go back to the card editing; and
    Click the "Save" button to save your changes.

    For instant capture, please follow the steps below (You do no need to logon to capture an image):

    Open UniQPass on your device; Click the "Instant Capture" button on the logon page; Capture your image with the camera; Click the "Save" button and choose photo gallery to save the captured image; Return to the logon page; and Insert the captured images to your card after you logon.
